Tropic Star

Laydekeri Fulgens

A magnificent lily with a long blooming season. This red hardy water lily is one of the first to bloom in the spring and will continue blooming late into the fall. It is very free flowering and has dark green lily pads. Flowers stay open later in the day. Suitable for container water gardens or larger ponds.

Attraction

A very popular hardy water lily with showy pinkish red flowers. Early in the growing season when sunlight is weaker and days are shorter blooms are smaller and can be a light pink. As the days reach their peak in summer the blooms become a nicer red. Lily pads are light bronze when young and mature to deep green.

Texas Dawn

planted in a large container and well fertilized will produce several blooms at a time by late summer. This yellow hardy water lily has deep yellow flowers and green lily pads with burgundy freckles. It is one of the first water lilies to bloom in the spring and the blossoms have a lemony fragrance.

Foxfire

A truly a unique tropical waterlily. Its pink ring of narrow petals in the center with a medium blue backdrop of wider petals is such a beautiful contrast! Add the wonderful variegated leaves and you have a treasured gem. Presnell developed this fascinating flower in 2003, so its fairly new but quite popular. The long outer petals are medium blue and the short inner petals are a soft pink. Perfect for any medium to large pond. This waterlily is one of the earliest to open.
